The Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, also known as the Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is the southernmost mosque in Europe. Constructed between 1995 and 1997 as a gift from King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, the mosque is a striking piece of modern Islamic architecture perched at Europa Point. The complex includes a prayer hall, a library, a lecture theatre, and a school, and can accommodate over 500 worshippers. Its prominent minaret is visible from across the Strait.
