概要 Rosia Bay (Nelson's Anchorage)
Rosia Bay is a historic cove on the southwestern coast of Gibraltar, believed to be the location where Admiral Lord Nelson's body was brought ashore after the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. For centuries, the bay served as the main victualling port for the Royal Navy. Today it is a tranquil spot for swimming in calm waters protected from Atlantic winds, with a small rocky beach, a number of waterside restaurants and bars, and the imposing 100 Ton Gun at Napier of Magdala Battery overlooking the bay.
