About Europa Point
Europa Point is the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula and of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Strait of Gibraltar. On clear days, the Atlas Mountains of Morocco are visible just 14 miles across the water. The area is home to several notable landmarks including the Trinity Lighthouse (operational since 1841 and managed by Trinity House), the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, Harding's Battery, the Sikorski Memorial, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Europe.
