About Skywalk Gibraltar
The Skywalk Gibraltar is a glass-floored viewing platform that protrudes dramatically from the edge of the Rock, 340 metres above sea level, over the ancient Jurassic dune below. Located at a former military lookout point, it offers vertiginous views straight down the eastern face of the Rock and across the Mediterranean toward Africa. The platform includes information panels about the geology and military history of the site, and the approach walk passes through areas of significant WWII heritage.
Visitor Tips
Not for the faint-hearted - the glass floor offers a dizzying view straight down.
Early morning visits are less crowded and offer clearer views.
