About Sandy Bay
Sandy Bay is a hidden gem tucked into a sheltered cove on the eastern coast of Gibraltar, about a 10-minute walk south of Catalan Bay village. The beach features fine golden sand and clear, shallow waters, making it ideal for families with young children. A section of the beach is closed off for children, and there is a well-priced chiringuito (beach bar) nearby. The sheltered cove creates calm sea conditions, and the natural setting makes it one of the most scenic beaches on the Rock.
